Job Description: Digital Product Designer

As a Digital Product Designer, you will design products for business banking, focusing on the end-to-end onboarding journey and future enhancements. Your responsibilities include writing user stories and business cases, approving builds, and reviewing code. Collaboration with Lead Engineers and Solution Architects is essential to create effective solutions. Managing complex stakeholder relationships, understanding architecture, governance, and RAID are key to success in this role.

This role can be based in Knutsford or London.

Purpose of the Role

Manage and develop existing and new products/services, owning related customer and colleague journeys. Develop product strategy, drive change through Barclays execution teams, and make key decisions throughout the product lifecycle. Ensure outcomes for customers, colleagues, and the bank are met through service level agreements, regulatory compliance, risk management, and controls.

Accountabilities

• Develop customer-centric strategies and solutions.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert within the Product/Proposition team, guiding stakeholders on product application and customer journeys.
• Develop product propositions, define priorities, and lead execution.
• Create and evaluate business models considering financial drivers of the P&L.
• Assess technical feasibility, legal compliance, and risks of new products.
• Monitor market trends and analyze feedback to refine products before launch.
• Manage launch plans, including timelines, marketing, training, and communication.
• Track key metrics like adoption, usage, satisfaction, and revenue to evaluate performance.
