A privately owned, reliable distributor of steel products across the UK and international markets are currently looking to recruit for an Internal Salesperson. You will play a pivotal role in the organisation, working in a dynamic team and contributing to their continuous growth and success. The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding and nurturing our client base, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, and effectively managing client accounts from initial enquiry to post-sale support.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Proactively generate new sales opportunities through outbound cold calls, cold emails, and timely follow-ups, while maintaining and updating the prospect database to support ongoing sales activity
• Engage with customers to understand their needs, respond to enquiries, resolve concerns, and provide relevant information via phone and email
• Clearly explain, demonstrate, and promote the features, benefits, and additional products or services to prospective clients through effective upselling techniques

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

• Previous experience in an Internal Sales, Technical Sales, Sales Executive role
• Worked in Engineering, Construction or Manufacturing previously
• Proficiency in using IT system, including Outlook, Word, CRM, and out sales software (training provided)
