Holiday Home Park Sales & Marketing Executive Welshpool, Mid Wales Full Time 5-day workweek involving Weekend work

We re a leading provider of exceptional holiday experiences, dedicated to creating memorable moments for families and retired couples alike. Nestled in a serene countryside location, our park offers the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure for holidaymakers.

We are seeking a proactive and versatile Sales & Marketing Executive to join our vibrant team. This unique role is primarily focussed on Sales and Marketing responsibilities, whilst having some Office management duties – ensuring a well-rounded and engaging work experience.

This is a weekend position that involves working during the season, where weekend availability is essential. In-season schedules require weekend commitment, with flexibility for mid-week days. This means you may work Thursday to Monday, Tuesday to Sunday, or Friday to Tuesday.

Are you the right person for the job?

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal skills, and customer service abilities to interact positively with customers, staff, and stakeholders
• Experience in sales, marketing, and basic business administration (training provided).
• A good understanding of traditional & digital marketing tools and techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM software.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• The nature of the industry is that weekend work is required during the season, but this is flexible out of season
• Experience within Sales & Marketing, preferably in a similar role within the tourism and leisure industry

What will your role look like?

Sales & Marketing:

• Working with the senior leadership team to develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships.
• Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends and competitors.
• Create and manage marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, and traditional media.
• Coordinate and participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events.
• Analyze and report on sales performance, marketing campaign effectiveness, and market conditions.
• Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by providing a warm welcome, addressing inquiries and maintaining a welcoming environment throughout the park
• Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers whilst enticing existing ones to upgrade, contributing to the park’s growth and success
• Assisting with inquiries, answering phone calls, returning customer emails, and proactively following up on sales opportunities. Manage all relevant admin in sales, insurance, and holiday home management

Office Management:

• This is primarily a Sales & Marketing role but you will have full access to assist with the management of inventory, arranging for repairs and upgrades as needed or coordinating between suppliers and customers.
• Likewise assistance will be required with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, organizing files, and handling correspondence. Or the assistance in ordering new supplies for the park.
