Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are recruiting for a Head or Marketing, Marketing Manager for a company based in Ripon, North Yorkshire.

The Role:

My client is looking for an ambitious and accomplished Head of Marketing or Marketing Manager to spearhead their marketing strategy development and implementation. You will be responsible for overseeing the full mix of marketing channels, platforms and activities, ensuring our brand messages and values are effectively communicated effectively.

Reporting to the Director, you will have 2 direct reports, so people management is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand the market, customers, and the changing consumer trends / behaviours to develop and execute a comprehensive, digital-first marketing strategy that aligns with our business objectives, in collaboration with the senior leadership team, directors and partners.
• Execute the marketing plans, which drive demand resulting in a robust sales pipeline.
• Be a proactive leader and mentor to a small team of content and marketing assistants.
• As a Head of Department, play an integral role in the collaboration around business-wide strategy and challenges, as well as providing input, guidance and support across the whole business.
• Continuously optimise marketing initiatives to maximise KPI goals, across four key marketing pillars of digital, data, content and events.
• Collaborate closely with the sales and product teams to understand customer needs, and articulate our key product benefits and value proposition.
• Manage relationships and budgets with external agency partners, including web development, SEO support, Paid Media and creative production.
• Measure and analyse marketing performance using agreed key metrics.

Experience:

• An accomplished marketer with B2B experience and a strong track record in developing and implementing successful strategies.
• A proven leader, with experience of managing a team
• A creative thinker with great attention to details, coupled with exceptional commercial acumen.
• Experiencing of delivering a digital-first strategy , covering content, social media, SEO, paid media, web and eCommerce.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distil complex product information into simple and appealing stories.
• Experience at planning and executing exhibitions and events.
• Familiarity with eCRM and marketing automation tools.

Desirable:

• A working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite / abilities to get involved with design, artworking and digital content creation.
