Esska Shoes is a dynamic and growing footwear company committed to delivering high-quality, stylish, and comfortable shoes. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Web and Social Media Manager to join our team and contribute to our continued success.

Type of candidate:

You will be in a similar role and will be looking for a sideways step or you will be in a more junior role in a bigger team and looking to step into a more senior role.

Role Overview:

Reporting to our Joint MD, you will take day-to-day strategic and tactical ownership for Esska’s website across all markets. You will need to have both creative and commercial acumen whilst growing overall revenue and profit.

You will work with several external agencies and partners. These include website developers, digital marketing and email marketing, affiliate marketing and PR.

Key Responsibilities but not limited to:-

Trading & Strategy:

• Manage our e-commerce platform, ensuring the website is current with the latest products, promotions, and content.
• Work with our merchandiser to analyse e-commerce performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to the leadership team.
• Drive digital sales growth by developing and executing a robust online trading plan that optimizes the overall commercial trading plan.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders on short, mid, and long-term e-commerce strategies, articulating them clearly in written form.

Marketing & Content:

• Act as the Esska lead in the development of the Digital Marketing Strategy, including new product launches, campaign planning, photoshoots, video production, and all relevant assets for use across every channel.
• Spearhead the organic social strategy to build community, increase engagement, and play a crucial role in brand transformation.
• Manage the graphics teams to ensure campaigns are aligned, audience-specific, and resonate with market trends and values.
• Oversee visual merchandising of the e-commerce store, from product signage to creating engaging content that drives sales.

Acquisition & Performance Marketing:

• Working alongside our digital agency, develop and implement a strong performance marketing strategy.
• Manage digital prospect and marketing campaigns.
• Ensure all marketing activities are in line with the brand’s direction and budgeted accordingly.

Email marketing:

• Develop and maintain an email marketing calendar
• Work with our 3rd party supplier to approve and implement email marketing
• Manage the supply of assets to the relevant parties

Other:

• Effectively manage direct reports

Qualifications/skills:

• Proven experience in a web and social media management role, preferably within the fashion or footwear industry.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong IT skills, including Word and Excel
• A strong knowledge of Shopify
• A strong knowledge of Meta and social media channels
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
