Virtualisation Infrastructure Engineer – Cisco FlexPod CVD – VMware – Hyper-V – Cisco UCS – IAM – Enhanced DV Clearance – Up to 550 a day (Inside IR35) – London

Rate: Up to 550 per day (Inside IR35)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled DV Cleared Virtualisation Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team in London. In this role, you will manage and decommission two critical IT platforms utilising Cisco FlexPod CVD patterns. You will be responsible for task packages drawn from a backlog of deliverables and aligned with the organisational-wide PI planning cadences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sustain and decommission virtualised infrastructure, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Manage Cisco FlexPod CVD patterns.
• Work within a structured framework of deliverables and PI planning cycles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and deadlines.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Virtualisation Platforms: VMWare, Hyper-V, Horizon View
• Container Orchestration: Kubernetes (K8S, K3S), EKS, AKS, GKS
• Server Platforms: Cisco UCS, HP Server platforms
• Load Balancing & Service Mesh: F5, Traefik, Consul, Istio
• Data Integration & Messaging: NiFi, Kafka
• Security & Hardening: PKI, IAM, system hardening

Requirements:

• Proven experience in managing virtualised infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Cisco FlexPod CVD patterns.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work to a structured task cadence.
• Enhanced DV Clearance is mandatory.
