We are looking for a Social Media Manager at MedShr, the world’s leading platform for doctors. If you are a versatile all-rounder, good under pressure and looking for a meaningful challenge.
MedShr is looking for someone who is passionate about managing Social Media channels on behalf of a Health tech start up. This person will be digitally-savvy, proactive and results-focused individual and excited by the opportunity to join the Community team at our award-winning Health Tech start-up.
You will have the unique opportunity to be involved with content curation, social media and exciting medical education campaigns across multiple digital channels.
You will have a real passion for Social Media and have experience of managing multiple social platforms in a fast-paced environment or commercial environment. Ideally you will have experience in health targeting UK and US audiences.
You’ll need to be a pro at planning creative content, developing standalone campaigns, copywriting for a range of channels, and have experience of reporting and analysis tools. Graphic design experience is non-essential, but is very much welcome, especially the experience of using photoshop and Canva.
Social Media Management
Take a complete ownership of all our MedShr social media platforms.
Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy across LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram.
Execute paid marketing campaigns end-to-end with limited supervision.
Manage social media and in-bound marketing.
Help monitor & improve performance of all marketing channels, including but not limited to Facebook & Google.
Optimize against key metrics, including CPC, CPA, CTR, open rates, CPL etc
Maintain brand and channel standards with stellar attention to detail.
Track best practices, monitor industry trends, and make recommendations on building the internal paid and unpaid marketing stack and toolkit
Create impactful images and animations for a wide variety of digital platforms
Draft copy for social media, websites, blog, banners, push notifications and press releases.
Help define our social media KPI’s
Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices, trends and technologies
Ensure there is brand consistency across all MedShr Brand Platforms
Clearly communicate and escalate more complex issues or requests
Maintain fluency with the platform on web, iOS and Android
The ideal candidate will:
Knowledgeable of current social media trends and driven to explore new opportunities
Experience of managing social media advertising
Be digitally savvy, with ability to quickly develop mastery of new apps and platforms
Strong attention to detail and ability to proofread.
Keen eye for design and ability to create engaging rich content (videos and visuals).
Be organized, adaptable and capable of effectively prioritizing workload
Demonstrate resourcefulness and initiative
Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail
Be articulate in English (written and spoken)
Have impeccable grammar and spelling
Have a professional manner, and confidence communicating with senior stakeholders
Be comfortable working within strict guidelines and deadlines
Have knowledge of medical terminology or demonstrate the ability to learn it
Experience in tech-startup or med tech environment
Hybrid working – a blend of remote and office-based
First Stage – Informal chat with the People Team
Second Stage – Meet with the Head of Growth
Final Stage – Conversation with CEO
Our salary for this role is highly competitive. We also provide discretionary share options for all MedShr employees after probation is complete.
For this role we can offer a hybrid approach with both remote and in office working. We also organise quarterly in-person events and socials to make sure you can meet up with colleagues.
