Salary: £34,000 – £40,000 depending on experience

Jane Tomlinson’s Run For All is looking for a Senior Copywriter who can help elevate the voice, shape messaging and connect deeply with various audiences and stakeholders – first-time runners and loyal fundraisers to charity partners and corporate sponsors.

You’ll play a vital role in ensuring our content reflects the heart of who we are – a movement built on community, resilience, and purpose. Your words will bring our events and impact to life, driving engagement, building trust, and inspiring action at every touchpoint.

Run For All was established to continue the legacy of Jane Tomlinson CBE – an inspirational fundraiser and athlete. We organise some of the UK’s leading mass participation running events, helping thousands of people achieve their goals and raise millions for charity.

Our team is dedicated to making running inclusive, accessible, and impactful. We’re looking for a Senior Copywriter who shares our passion for sport, community, and fundraising.

The Role

• Lead on written communications across digital and print, including campaigns, emails, runner journey, website, newsletters, social media.
• Collaborate with the marketing team and wider company to develop compelling messaging that drives engagement and participation in events.
• Develop and maintain a consistent tone of voice that reflects Jane’s legacy – honest, heartfelt, and uplifting.
• Craft compelling case studies and human-interest stories that showcase our participants
• Analyse results to identify opportunities to drive traffic and engagement
• Use initiative to predict, manage and solve problems on your own

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience in a senior copywriting or content role, ideally within the charity, non-profit, or public sector.
• Having experience as a runner is an advantage for this role, as ideally, we need someone who can truly get into a runner’s mindset and write authentically from their perspective.
• Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills, with a strong portfolio to match.
• Deep understanding of how to tailor messages to different audiences and platforms.
• Ability to handle sensitive topics with care, authenticity, and integrity.
• Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and keen eye for detail.
• Passionate about making a difference and aligning words with purpose.

To be considered for this role you will need to own a car and have a full clean driving licence due to the location of events and requirements to travel. You should expect to work several event weekends and occasionally, out of hours, especially throughout the events season.
