Job Summary:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a PR Manager to join Mercator Digital. We are a leading digital consultancy and this is a pivotal moment of substantial growth. So this role is ideal for an individual who is eager to contribute to a success story and is not afraid to take a hands-on approach to accomplish tasks. As our in-house PR Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective public relations strategies to enhance the company’s brand image and reputation – as well as that of key personnel. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and communication across various channels. You’ll be part of the Brand and Marketing team and report to the Head of Brand.
You will need to:
Develop and execute a comprehensive PR plan encompassing strategy, goals, budget, and tactics across traditional and digital channels
Develop a media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media
Create engaging press releases, articles, blogs and other communication materials to share company achievements, milestones, and thought leadership
Cultivate and maintain relationships with key media contacts, influencers, and industry stakeholders
Coordinate all public relations activities
Monitor PR results, media coverage and industry trends – providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting Mercator Digital and our clients – providing strategic communication recommendations in response
You will have:
Proven experience as a PR Manager or in a similar role within the technology sector
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, showcasing the ability to craft compelling narratives
A track record of successfully building and maintaining relationships with media professionals
A creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative PR campaigns
Strong project management skills, demonstrating the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
Solid experience with social media platforms, including blogs, Twitter, etc. and a keen awareness of emerging PR trends
In return, you’ll receive:
A salary of £35,000 – £45,000 depending on experience (pro-rated for part time)
