Position Overview: We are seeking a Performance & Optimisation Application Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in enhancing our customer partnerships. In this role, your main accountability will be to build strong relationships with customers by understanding their key business drivers, processes, and business models. By doing so, you will shape and deliver compelling propositions that drive business performance improvements.

Job Description:
Major Job Functions:
Fully understand customers’ key business drivers, business processes and outcomes to build compelling propositions to improve their business performance and facilitate the sales of equipment. Provide information that optimises productivity and efficiency of their assets and resources, looking at fleet, site, employees, supplier level, etc.
Identify, build relationships and gain support across a network of customer key influencers and develop effective relationships. Engage with our customers (directly or through the sales team) to identify and upsell our optimisation services, reporting and technology subscriptions
Carry out site surveys and production studies, including drone surveys, to identify optimum fleet requirements and efficiency improvement opportunities
Analysis of DATA from various platforms and sources to highlight priority sites or leading indicators for potential new business opportunities, including equipment sales, aftermarket services, and value-added solutions, including operator and supervisor training.
Manage project opportunities through the stages from initial identification and scoping through to implementation following a successful outcome.

Specific Skills:
Ability to evaluate and understand customer requirements. Collate value-added solutions and present them back to the customer in a meaningful and professional manner,
Excellent communication, facilitation, influencing and negotiation skills.
Self-starter with good time management skills
Excellent customer relationship skills and internal/external networking skills.
Experience implementing digital technology and software solutions in the Civil Engineering, Construction, Surveying, and Geospatial industries in a customer operational environment is preferable.
Preferably familiarity with technology-based services, solutions, technical consultancy & process improvement in large-scale infrastructure projects
Financial and Commercial Awareness
You will need a high level of computer literacy. You will be required to use Microsoft Office applications and Finning applications. You may also be required to use Power BI, Tableau applications, etc.
Knowledge:
Understanding of machine application and best practice in a production environment
Understanding of the sales process
Project and process management
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office suites
Experience in Excel, Power BI, and Smartsheet is an advantage.
Financial and commercial awareness
Education & Experience:
Engineering Degree, Mining Engineer, or Qualified Surveyor. Alternatively, demonstrable operational / site-based experience (5+ years).
Understanding of machine application and best practices in a production environment (e.g., load and haul, muck-shift operations, cycle time etc) and/or understanding of technical solutions and services in the Civil Engineering, Construction, Surveying and Geospatial industries
Machine control application and best practice in a production environment (highly advantageous)
Lean Practitioner (highly advantageous)
