Position: Part Time Bookkeeper (2 days per week)Location: London, Hybrid (2-4 days per month in office)Salary £30,000 – £35,000 per annum, pro-rata

About Us:In Digital, is a thriving digital marketing agency based in Covent Garden and ranked as one of the best places to work in the UK we are seeking a part-time Bookkeeper to join our team.

This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility to work from home for most of the week, with 2-4 days per month in our office. You’ll be supporting our finance operations to ensure smooth financial management across the business.

Role Overview:We are looking for an experienced and proactive Bookkeeper with knowledge of Xero to manage our day-to-day financial transactions. You will work closely with our finance team to ensure accuracy and efficiency in handling our accounts, providing essential support to maintain our financial health. The role is for 2 days a week, offering flexibility in working hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Accounts Payable: handle queries, reconcile supplier statements, and process payments
• Manage Accounts Receivable: raise invoices and monitor overdue accounts
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
• Manage accruals and financial reporting
• Process and reconcile staff expenses
• Process and manage payroll
• Assist with month-end activities including balance sheet reconciliations
• Support the finance team with cash flow reports and other ad-hoc financial tasks
• Assist in preparing VAT returns and management accounts (if experience allows)

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge and experience with Xero
• Knowledge of Dext and other accountancy automation tools
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Experience with VAT returns
• Experience with HMRC Guidelines
• Available to work 2 days a week with 2-4 days per month in the office
