Location: Reading (Onsite)
Rate: Up to 475 per day (Inside IR35)
Security Clearance: DV Clearance Required

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced DV Cleared Network Specialist to join our clients existing dynamic Solution Build Practice. They will work closely with the Solution Owner and Architects to assist with the instantiating of design documentation, on a wide variety of network solutions, which vary in size and complexity. You will be part of the Delivery Team and will liaise with the current SMEs for Networking, Infrastructure, Applications and Security as required.

Essential skills:

• Network design (high and low level)
• Configuring network devices
• Previous experience Cisco routing and switching devices
• Demonstrable understanding of OSPF, EIGRP and BGP routing protocols.
• Demonstrable understanding of NAT, GRE Tunnelling protocol, DMVPN Tunnelling Protocol, Subnetting & Supernetting.
• Network operation in an offline environment

Desirable skills:

• Previous experience with Juniper SRX or Fortinet FortiGate
• Previous experience with Cisco ASA and McAfee MFE appliances
• Previous experience with some of the following Cisco appliances:
  • Cisco routing (phone number removed) and 4300 series.
  • Cisco switching 3750, 3850 series, 9200 & 9300 series.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in network engineering
• DV Clearance
