This Net Zero Communications Officer will report to the Strategic Communications Manager and will work within the Human Resources based in our London office. You will be a permanent employee.
You will attract a salary of 45,000.00 and a bonus of 7.5%. This role can also offer blended working after probationary period (6 months) – 3 days in the office and 2 remote

The UK’s leading electricity distribution network is looking for a digital communications officer to help us tell the story of how we’re leading the transition to Net Zero with no customers left behind. Working with accomplished colleagues from across the business including our Innovation, Consumer Vulnerability and Connections teams, you’ll work with some of the country’s most brightest and best green energy engineers and specialists. Experience in the utility sector or working with data, technology research is welcome but isn’t necessary, however experience using your digital and communications skills to turn complex projects into great content is.
Job purpose

Principle responsibilities
Nature and scope
A detailed knowledge of the electricity industry isn’t required, but you will need to interpret complex subjects and turn them into stories that engage audiences it. Digital skills such as some graphic design experience or video production, or the willingness to learn them, would be valued.
