About the Opportunity We’re partnering with a growing performance marketing and consumer acquisition business to biuld out their team.

Operating in a regulated environment, the business combines data-led decision-making, creative testing and paid media expertise to deliver efficient, scalable customer acquisition. As the business continues to expand its client portfolio and enter new market verticals, it is investing in its in-house media buying function to support its next phase of growth. Paid social is a key driver of this growth, creating an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded Media Buyer to take ownership of campaign performance, test new approaches and help scale successful acquisition strategies.
The Role As Media Buyer – Paid Social, you’ll manage and optimise campaigns across platforms including Meta, TikTok and Reddit, with a focus on delivering efficient cost per lead (CPL) and cost per acquisition (CPA).
You’ll play a key role in developing and executing paid social strategies that reach relevant audiences, generate high-quality leads and deliver measurable commercial results.
Working closely with creative, data and implementation teams, you’ll use performance insights, structured testing and continuous optimisation to improve campaign effectiveness and identify opportunities for growth.
With exposure to a diverse portfolio of legal claims campaigns, you’ll work across different audiences, motivations and market dynamics. This will give you the opportunity to develop your expertise, experiment with creative approaches and make a direct impact on acquisition performance.
Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and optimise paid social campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Reddit and other relevant platforms.
• Drive efficient lead generation and acquisition, delivering against agreed CPL, CPA and performance targets.
• Audit and evaluate advertising accounts, identifying opportunities to improve performance, efficiency and scalability.
• Work closely with the Creative Strategist to develop paid social strategies aligned with the objectives of each campaign and market vertical.
• Support creative testing across ad formats, messaging, audiences and concepts to identify winning combinations.
• Analyse platform performance data and internal business intelligence to inform daily optimisation decisions.
• Use downstream lead quality and disposition data, where available, to improve campaign effectiveness and acquisition quality.
• Maintain clean, structured and scalable advertising accounts, including consistent naming conventions and account hygiene.
• Monitor campaign performance, identifying trends, bottlenecks, risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Produce clear weekly and monthly performance reports, translating data into actionable recommendations.
• Ensure campaign changes are aligned with agreed objectives, KPIs and commercial priorities.
• Work with relevant stakeholders to ensure campaigns comply with applicable legal requirements, advertising regulations, platform policies and internal standards.

About You You’re a hands-on paid social specialist who combines analytical thinking with a strong understanding of creative performance. You enjoy testing new ideas, interpreting data and finding opportunities to improve results.
You’ll ideally bring:

• At least two years’ experience managing paid social advertising campaigns.
• Strong hands-on experience with Meta Ads and/or TikTok Ads, ideally within a lead generation or performance-driven environment.
• Experience managing campaigns at scale and working towards CPL, CPA or similar acquisition targets.
• A strong understanding of campaign testing, audience targeting, optimisation and scaling strategies.
• The ability to analyse performance data, identify trends and turn insights into practical actions.
• An appreciation of the relationship between creative strategy, audience behaviour and campaign performance.
• Excellent organisational skills and a methodical approach to campaign management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate performance insights clearly.
• A proactive, curious and commercially minded approach, with the confidence to take ownership and solve problems independently.

Desirable Experience

• Experience working within a digital marketing agency or performance marketing team.
• Exposure to regulated sectors such as legal services, financial services, insurance or claims.
• Experience in direct-to-consumer (DTC) performance marketing or high-volume lead generation.
• Experience managing substantial advertising budgets or campaigns across multiple market verticals.
• Familiarity with Reddit Ads or additional paid social platforms beyond Meta and TikTok.
