About the Role
Our client, a fast-growing SaaS business based in Exeter, is looking for a Marketing Manager to lead their marketing team. This is a leadership-focused role where you will be responsible for developing and implementing data-driven marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition and engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing and team management, with a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes.
The role involves overseeing multi-channel marketing efforts, managing and mentoring a team of seven marketing professionals, and ensuring alignment between marketing, sales, and product teams. You will play a key role in optimising campaign performance, leveraging data analytics, and enhancing brand presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of seven marketing professionals, conducting regular one-to-ones, coaching, and performance reviews
• Develop and execute digital marketing strategies across SEO, paid media, social media, and email campaigns
• Work closely with sales and product teams to align messaging and ensure marketing efforts contribute to revenue growth
• Monitor and analyse marketing performance data, making strategic recommendations for improvement
• Manage marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for maximum return on investment
• Stay up to date with the latest marketing trends, tools, and technologies to drive continuous improvement

About You

• Proven experience as a Marketing Manager or in a similar leadership role
• Strong expertise in digital marketing, including SEO, paid media, and email marketing
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to use analytics tools to measure and optimise performance
• Experience managing and mentoring a team, with a passion for developing talent
• Ability to collaborate effectively with sales and product teams to align marketing strategies with business goals

Desirable Skills

• Experience in a SaaS or technology-driven business
• Knowledge of marketing automation tools and CRM systems
• Familiarity with A/B testing and conversion rate optimisation techniques
