Marketing Manager, Newmarket –

The Company:

Based in Newmarket, home for Horseracing and Sporting Art, we are recruiting for a company based in the niche sector of equestrianism.. In other words, if you like horses/and/or marketing, this role may just be exactly what you are looking for!

Recruiting for a Marketing Manager, the ideal candidate would have exposure in a venue orientated industry and a creative mindset with a hands-on attitude. This role is broad, encompassing anything from social media and content to campaigns and digital work here and there.

The Role:

Your day-today responsibilities may include but would not be limited to…

You would handle and produce various marketing campaigns driving maximum engagement for the business
Within your role you would manage the digital side to things also, inclusive of various social media platforms focusing on content creation website maintenance etc.
Previous exposure in outsourcing and agency management would be beneficial
Ability to conduct market research and stay up to date with trends, competitors and analytics
Development of wider marketing strategy… as well as implementation

The Requirements:

3-5 years of marketing experience would be preferable
A can-do mentality, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced business
An interest/passion for equestrian/horses or racing would be a plus

Due to the location of their Newmarket based office, this is most suited for those based in Cambridge, Waterbeach, Cottenham, Longstanton, Barhill, Cambourne, Fulbourn, Great Shelford, Biggleswade, Royston, St Neots, Huntingdon, St Ives, Chatteris, Ely, and most parts of Cambridgeshire.
