Marketing Executive – Croydon / Carshalton – Salary £30,000 pa – £33,000 pa depending on experience

Monday to Friday, 4 days in office 1 day work from home

An exciting opportunity for a creative, innovative and driven Marketing Executive to join a leading Food Brand and assist with the development and execution of the marketing plan. This is a new role created to underpin current and future growth.

Duties of the Role:

• Work closely with the Marketing Manager to deliver the strategic brand vision;
• Focus on creating, implementing and executing B2B and B2C Marketing Plans;
• Ongoing evaluation of the Marketing Plan, review Marketing Analytics, making adjustments to the Plan to maximise ROI and effectiveness;
• Identify and scope out new marketing opportunities;
• Write effective copy and create digital content that will engage, enthrall and resonate with the customer;
• Help develop the consumer proposition, including: product, packaging, price and commercial considerations;
• Develop Marketing materials and Social Media communications that will drive brand awareness, engagement, product penetration and help increase product listings;
• Monitor, measure and report on promotional activities;
• Create content for Social Media, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram;
• Work closely with the Marketing Manager in designing and delivering an Email Marketing campaigns that are consistent, engaging and permission based;
• Be involved with web development, trade shows, public relations, marketing events;
• Maintain knowledge of competitor activity, marketing trends, developments and best practices;
• Work closely with the Sales team to ensure the Marketing plan is contributing effectively to the overall commercial plan.

The Person

• Previously worked in a similar generalist Marketing role, with 18 months relevant Marketing experience from a B2B or B2C environment;
• Marketing experience within Food / Drink / FMCG would be good but not essential;
• Have an understanding of Trade Marketing, Retail / Wholesale routes to market;
• Bring a mix of Commercial awareness combined with Marketing savvy;
• Experience of utilising Social Media Platforms for Marketing purposes;
• Have a passion for the products, and the drive to always strive for better;
• Bring openness, personal energy, resilience and a strong desire to obtain excellent results;
• Experience of applications such as Hubspot, Mailchimp, Google Analytics would assist.

Salary £30,000 pa – £33,000 + Benefits. Ref 3541
