Summary Description: The Marketing Cloud Manager has the mindset of a modern marketer, understanding the digital marketing landscape, how to implement testing methodologies, the importance of measurements, marketing technology, etc. This role will be an integral part of the strategic marketing team by consulting and providing campaign input, as well as enabling the team by suggesting how to execute campaigns using Marketing Cloud. It will be important for this person to have experience building email journeys and CloudPages specifically in Marketing Cloud in order to act as an SME. Additionally, partnering with the team to create and document best practices, measurement/reporting methodologies, and other requirements as necessary. Partner with territories to develop synergies for projects and integration moving forward. Preferred Skills: Ability to understand, build and launch marketing campaigns in Marketing Cloud, utilizing Email Studio, Content Builder, Journey Builder and CloudPages (and other modules as activated) to build campaign automation; Understand the needs of the GMO campaign strategies through journey creation and execution of automated marketing campaigns, CloudPage development, pilots and testing using best practices; contribute to developing an enablement plan for the team. Work with strategic marketing and SuperUser teams to create and maintain email and CloudPage templates for GMO team, as needed; including auditing and modifying as needed; Keeping up to date with data protection laws and industry practice, trends and standards and understanding the nuances and implications of this on a cross-border basis; Acting as Marketing Cloud subject matter expert for the GMO. Understanding of marketing reporting and best practices. Ability to explain metrics available from marketing campaigns and how they can be used to optimise current and future efforts. Preferred Experience: 3-5 years hands-on Marketing Cloud experience building journeys and CloudPages (required); additional marketing automation experience a plus. 3-5 years experience in marketing technology, database marketing and/or reporting. Experience working with campaigns and reporting in Sales Cloud. Ability to translate business requirements into marketing automation journeys. Analytical/logical way of thinking.
