Impact Recruitment are looking for a Marketing Assistant Graduate or someone looking to further their Marketing career to become part of their well-established team. Impact is a multi-award winning independent Industrial and Commercial recruitment consultancy based in Northampton, Wellingborough, Corby & Peterborough. With a multi-million turnover, we provide hundreds of temporary and permanent staff to over 100 clients every week.

We are looking for Marketing Assistant to work in collaboration with our Marketing Manager and our sales team to deliver traditional and digital marketing campaigns to both B2B and B2C audiences.

Key duties and responsibilities required from the Marketing Assistant:

• Deliver traditional and digital marketing campaigns to support sales and operational colleagues.
• Managing social media pages by producing and scheduling content, posting updates, and responding to comments and messages
• Deliver marketing activity to support lead generation.
• Help deliver broader company communications to clients and candidates, working closely with colleagues to ensure all are communicated with in the appropriate and timely manner.
• Create and maintain website content to maintain SEO (WordPress)
• Work closely with design tools to produce and update marketing materials (Canva, InDesign)
• Create and deliver regular email campaigns and publish on landing pages (Mailchimp)
• Create and deliver different surveys using Survey Monkey
• Creation of leaflets, flyers, brochures using Canva or InDesign
• Communicating with suppliers to obtain merchandise quotes in line with campaign deadlines.
• Writing and posting industry related blog articles
• Creating PPT presentations for the sales team, managers, or for the brand
• Using website analytics to ascertain the relative effectiveness of ongoing campaigns and understand the way users interact with the site.
• Attending industry events, conferences, or school & college fairs

Key experience and skills required from the Marketing Assistant:

• Must have previous Marketing experience of implementing effective marketing campaigns.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Be able to manage own time effectively.
• Have experience of managing multiple projects
• Have good knowledge of social media platforms (especially LinkedIn and Facebook)
• Be able to write excellent copy and use design tools (such as Canva or InDesign)
• Have experience of email marketing (such as Mailchimp, Klaviyo)
• Have basic WordPress experience.
• Flexibility and willingness to learn new skills.
• Proven time management and prioritisation abilities
• Knowledge of analytics software (Google Analytics)
• Have a “can do” attitude.
