Marketing and Communications Officer

Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 per annum
The Institute of Masters of Wine is a membership organisation whose members are the Masters of Wine. Our mission is to promote excellence, interaction and learning across all sectors of the global wine community.
We have 416 members around the world, working as winemakers, viticulrutists, importers, buyers, retailers, journalists, educators, sommeliers and senior executives. The Institute runs a study programme for over 350 students and events around the world and conducts the examinations in London, North America and Australia each year.
We rely heavily on Members who volunteer to organise and carry out many of the activities.
The Role
The Marketing and Communications Officer plays a key part in communicating the IMW s marketing message, oversees day-to-day marketing activities from print to and digital, and is responsible for managing the IMW s social media, press communications and online interactions.
The successful candidate will be one who can show a marketing communications background, with proven organisational skills, and a demonstrable ability to work with diplomacy with a highly motivated volunteer workforce, Members, wine producers, Supporters of the IMW, and with the committed administrative team.
