This role focuses on leading the Industrial Europe indirect channel new business development, driving the value selling capabilities agenda and enhancing our propositions to achieve the significant and sustainable business growth in indirect. The role will lead the holistic analysis of growth strategy in the indirect channel across Europe and drive the critical business decisions to be part of the Castrol industrial growth agenda.
What the role does!Develop business development strategy for the Industrial Europe indirect channel as well as pricing strategy.
Lead channel development to serve sustainable long-term value creation target for the company, including Route to Market strategy review for markets where Castrol presence combines direct & indirect.
Plan and organize effective projects and processes under the defined strategy to ensure the desired outcome can be achieved.
Deliver market reviews and competitive benchmark on indirect channel across Europe
Manage high level senior relationships with key strategic business partners externally, with strong future focus and long-term business insights.
Drive Castrol industrial Europe specific projects as relevant for indirect channel business development
Build the enduring capability of hunting and nurturing new business opportunities, in close cooperation with sales managers in each European region.
Develop together with Solutions and Marketing team a pipeline of offers for growing the indirect business.
Contribute effectively to the Joint Business Plan definition and execution including definition of technical, marketing and financial support needs.
Develop and implement a systematic approach through the embedding of relevant E&C and OMS elements, ensuring appropriate risk reviews are undertaken appropriately.
What we need from you!
Minimum bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, an MBA or higher degree would be value added. Must have Relevant business experience, preferably with track record of delivery of business development. Deep understanding of the market trends, competitive landscape, and business ecosystem in the market. Rich understanding of channels and value pools in the industrial business and experience in B2B business and preferably Industrial. To also sustain hands-on skills in planning and executing skills for new businesses, product categories and partnerships, strong capability managing negotiations at senior level
