What the job involves
You will be a key leader in our company, overseeing all marketing efforts, including growth, PR, community management, brand development (e.g. events), and customer acquisition
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a critical role in shaping our brand’s future and driving the strategic initiatives that will lead to rapid and sustained growth
Brand & Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the company’s growth objectives
This includes both digital and traditional marketing channels
To execute your strategy, you will own the following:
Brand Development: Build and maintain a strong brand presence in the market, ensuring consistent messaging and visual identity across all touchpoints
Growth Marketing: Drive the overall strategy for customer acquisition and retention, working closely with our external agency to ensure campaigns are optimized for performance across channels such as paid search, social media, email, and partnerships
Public Relations: Lead PR efforts to increase brand visibility and manage the company’s public image, including managing media relationships, press releases, and event planning
Community Management: Cultivate and engage our community of pet owners, building a loyal customer base through social media, forums, events, and other platforms
Content Strategy: Oversee the creation of compelling content that resonates with our target audience, including blogs, newsletters, videos, and more
Partnerships & Collaborations: Identify and establish strategic partnerships to drive growth and enhance our brand’s reach
Team Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing marketing team as the company scales
Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to maximize impact
