Reporting to the Marketing Director, your job will centre on driving the strategic direction for the Games & Bingo market proposition and creative output of all campaigns for the Paddy Power brand across UK&I. Alongside the Head of Brand Strategy your role will be to carve out marketing leading growth propositions and campaigns that will drive our market share growth.
The role also includes leading the development of media strategies, with the support of the Head of Media aswell as driving reach of our propositions via Mischief, Content and PR by disrupting the news cycle to reach millions of consumers and make our brand stand out versus the market.
As a ‘Head ‘of’ you will shape our overall marketing strategy for the brand and in turn drive performance of the PP Games and Bingo business. You will own key stakeholder relationships namely, Gaming Commercial Director, Digital Director and the Head’s of Commercial for PP Games & Bingo aswell as significant exposure to senior management across the organisation.
What You’ll be Doing…
Campaigns and brand strategy
Drive top of funnel demand ( including driving acquisition demand) for PP Games & Bingo in market via fully integrated Marketing campaigns.
Create the market positioning for PP games and deliver the creative output of all PP campaigns across Games and Bingo
Continuing to evolve the PP brand equity and positioning, maintain its differentiation and ultimately increase awareness, consideration and conversion through standout marketing campaigns
Monitoring competitor and market trends to ensure PP Games is continuously one step ahead of the market and identifying opportunities for us to innovate ahead of the market.
Continuously evolving the Games and Bingo marketing propositions to support commercial targets by identifying the right balance between value, product, brand and purpose driven marketing campaigns supported by customer insights
Own and direct our internal and external creative teams and agencies to produce outstanding work
Development of media strategy
Develop and align media plans to maximise reach, frequency and impact of campaigns (alongside Head of Online Media), and utilise all available internal and external reporting optimise these campaigns
Constantly evaluate media strategy and make recommendations for future developments and opportunities
Be responsible and accountable for the annual media budget and monthly budget reporting
Targets, reporting and KPI’s
Set measures of success and report on campaigns aligned to our marketing and commercial strategies
Constantly report on the success and learnings of internal campaigns, as well as reporting on best in class industry and out of industry campaigns
Own the relationship with commercial and measurement teams to understand, identify and correct any performance issues in order to drive the business forward
Lead on marketing innovation by exploring new ways for the brand to stand out within our category by challenging traditional marketing ways of thinking
What We’re Looking For…
Someone who is passionate about Gaming with demonstrable experience of working in dynamic, fast paced environments for established brands.
Strong experience of managing media and activations with a leading brand
Strong portfolio of brand work (ATL, BTL campaign, activation) strongly desired
Experience leading on image strategy and presentation experience
Tertiary qualification required
Demonstrated experience as a PowerPoint ninja, Excel wizard.
Experience managing a team desirable
