Internal Communications and Engagement (IC&E) sits at the centre of the BBC. It connects our workforce to each other, our culture, the BBC’s public purpose and mission, and the Director-General’s vision and strategy.
The Head of Campaigns and Channels is a vital role in the team, delivering standout, highly engaging communications campaigns and content to drive engagement and change across the BBC Group; as well as managing the suite of internal communications channels.
Reporting to the Director of IC&E, this role is responsible for making sure our campaigns and channels are the best not just in the BBC, but in the industry. The role is also responsible for leading, coaching, and mentoring a high performing team to deliver world-class leadership communications, execute key group wide announcements, manage our editorial and publishing plans, deliver outstanding group wide campaigns and develop our channel strategy and portfolio of communications channels. It will also partner the BBC’s Transformation Office to ensure our major change and transformation programmes are supported.
