Head of Advertising Sales

Prospect Magazine, the UK’s leading monthly current affairs title, is looking for an Advertising Sales Manager to grow our print and digital advertising revenues. The role would suit someone with 5yrs sales experience and experience of working with agencies.

This is an exciting time to join Prospect . Soon to be relaunching under a new Editor and with significant marketing and promotional investment to support it.

Working with the sales, production, marketing and editorial teams, the successful candidate will work across a portfolio of products and services within a highly regarded magazine.

The role offers a mix of office and home working.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage and deliver revenue targets for print and digital advertising
• Lead on Prospect ‘s agency engagement
• Identify and contact potential new advertisers and partners
• Manage and support assigned clients and accounts
• Stay abreast of upcoming content in the magazine
• Gather all relevant material for bid processes, and coordinate bidding and contract approval
• Work with the production and design teams to ensure client copy is provided on time.
• Maintain and grow the CRM database (Salesforce)
• Provide monthly sales figures accurately and on time
