Role Synopsis
To support the global growth of fleet businesses at bp, the Global Product and Offer Manager – Payment brings strong passion for accountability, setting high standards, and driving results through constant focus on developing and improving TCO offers for fleet customers.
As the Global Product and Offer Manager – Payment you will need to be able to think big to create a long-term plan and have exceptional tactical skills to drive day-to-day implementation. You will need learn quickly and be willing to experiment with new ideas.
You will have ownership of key deliverables across bp businesses, tech teams, and other stakeholders to implement scalable payment solutions for our fleet customers (defining customer requirements, articulating offers roadmap and steering its implementation). The Global Product and Offer Manager – Payment will use complex problem-solving skills, manage multiple high-visibility priorities, and maintain a keen attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ambiguous situations.
Key AccountabilitiesStrategy: holds the global payment strategy for fleet managers across the bp Group.
Representing fleet manager and fleet driver needs
Monitoring the market and developing competitive analyses.
Defining a vision for payment products
Visibility and coordination: provide transparent, integrated view of milestones and KPIs across payment solutions, highlighting sequencing, dependencies, and cross-functional constraints to anticipate potential delivery volatility and change fatigue.
Budget management: Track budget spend across the payment portfolio to ensure focus is on ‘Time to Value’ delivery and interdependencies do not result in duplication or gaps in budgeting process
Define and drive delivery of product(s) objectives -define project plans, manage implementation activities, and develop processes, documentation and communications
Prioritizing product features and capabilities.
Communicate to leaders, employees, and cross functional organizations
Collaborate and build relationships with business owners globally to ensure product excellence
Decide on Global Fleet Payment products and associated offers
Decide on prioritization and sequencing of Global Fleet payment offers
Approve target experiences for relevant digital product
Approve service designs for existing and new experiences in line with target experiences for digital product
Essential Experience and Job RequirementsStrong experience in product development, ideally payment experience
Strong experience in project management
Experience working in agile teams
Customer experience management – experience of value proposition development or journey mapping (service design or experience design)
Strong relationship management and communication skills with a proven ability to work across business
Product management / commercial acumen (focus on value creation)
