Job Profile Summary
This role partners with the Global EV & Business Development Manager to drive all business development activities related to future mobility. You will play a crucial role in supporting the development of the pipeline for Global accounts and identifying and evaluating new business opportunities. This role is central to developing new and innovative offers around future mobility, electrification, and digitalisation of the transport industry primarily within the Automotive sector.

This role partners with the Global Castrol EV Business Development Director to drive all business development activities related to EV Fluids, such as EV Transmission Fluids, EV Greases and EV Thermal Fluids for battery cooling. You will play a crucial role in supporting the development of the business pipeline for existing strategic OEM customers and identifying and evaluating new business opportunities beyond existing/EV Fluids, primarily within the Automotive sector.
What the role does:Collect EV related insights from OEM customers, competitors and wider industry understanding to contribute to strategy and offer development.
Support the implementation of Castrol’s EV Fluid strategy roadmap
Work closely with strategic OEM account teams, marketing, technology and regional sales teams to take advantage of future EV Fluid business opportunities.
Maintain prospect contact maps at the appropriate level in OEM customers in alignment with the Global EV Business Development Director.
Prepare detailed business proposals to senior management at account and regional level.
What we need from you:
We are looking for someone with a degree level qualification. You will have experience in business development and knowledge in B2B/B2B2B/B2B2C relationships in diverse and challenging environments. Ideally, you will also have experience working in the automotive industry, with knowledge in electrification. A technical background and understanding is also desirable.
To be successful in the role you will need strong communication and influencing skills. Given this is a new role, the ability to take initiative is essential. The successful applicant will be able to connect and network effectively outside their direct team.
