Volleyball England is seeking to appoint a new Elected Director to its Board to help the organisation achieve its strategic objectives.
The role is being filled following the previous incumbent’s completion of a maximum term of eight years in the post.
Board Diversity and Skills:
Volleyball England aims to develop a diverse Board with a wide range of skills, experience, and knowledge. Skills in marketing, digital, and understanding of system partner/Sport England ways of working are particularly sought.
Prior experience is welcome but not essential. More important are individuals who share the organisation’s vision and passion for sport at all levels.

Eligibility and Selection:
An Elected Director must verify that they are an affiliated individual in line with Volleyball England’s Articles of Association. Candidates should have excellent volleyball knowledge and a commitment to the development and success of the sport. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
All applicants will be interviewed by the Nominations Committee, which will operate a competence-based recruitment process. The Committee will recommend candidates to the Board and, for Elected Directors, subsequently to the AGM, based on the skills and capabilities needed by the organisation.
