Oxford University Press
We are the world’s largest university press, committed to excellence in research, scholarship, and education by publishing worldwide. With a presence in more than 50 countries and with millions of customers around the world, an idea launched at OUP can have a global impact.
About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Editor to join the UK Primary Literacy team. You’ll be working on children’s reading books and resources from major brands such as Read Write Inc., Oxford Reading Tree and Project X – content that will help improve children’s life chances. You’ll assist with the content creation of new products and the maintenance of backlist titles to ensure that products are of a high standard and publish on time and to budget.
Working closely with your editorial team and colleagues in production, design, digital, sales and marketing, you will also be liaising with external authors, freelance editors, reviewers, advisors, teachers and pupils.
OUP is currently transitioning into a hybrid working organization. We anticipate that this role will require 2-3 days per week in the Oxford office.
