SF Recruitment are working with a business based in Birmingham who is looking for an E-Commerce Manager to join the team
£50,000 – £60,000 plus an extra 20K potential in bonuses

Purpose of the role
– Full responsibility for the management & development of the E-commerce & digital function
– Management & development of the Marketing / E-commerce team
– Full responsibility for the management & development of the Marketing function
Key Accountabilities
– Ensure Ecom sales targets are achieved
– Website remains ‘on brand’, fit for purpose & aligned with those relevant competitors considered ‘best in class’
– Ensure website adequately displays all promotions being run in the stores
– Ensure digital & social media postings are ‘on brand’, in line with company objectives with KPI targets achieved
– Ensure all marketing campaigns are ‘on brand’ whilst being delivered on time & within budget
– Ecom & marketing team are highly motivated & embrace the ‘Continuous Improvement’ culture
Main Responsibilities
E-commerce Function
– Responsibility for hitting sales targets for group websites & hotline
– Ensuring customer UX is on brand and up to date with industry standards, responsible for management & relationship with external website agency
– Keeping all website products up to date including price, product descriptions, imagery (liaison with buying to ensure open communication regarding product updates, new product etc.)
– Organising photoshoots to capture imagery where necessary
– Liaising with team to deliver segmented weekly email campaigns
– Setting & managing the overall PPC / SEO strategy in conjunction with agency to hit both web targets and hotline performance targets
– Trustpilot overall relationship management to include responding to all 4 and 5 star reviews keeping close to customer feedback
– Keep website policy and procedures up to date and ensure all transactional processes and content uploads are legally compliant
Social Media & Digital
– Develop a Social Media strategy including its content & posting schedule
– Manage the marketing strategy by leveraging social media to identify and acquire customers.
– Manage the strategy of driving more traffic to our websites, attracting more visitors to our showrooms, and increasing our visibility to gain more exposure.
– Achieve financial objectives (KPIs targets) by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
– To amplify our Brand reputation, recognition, and appeal to a new generation of consumers in order to grow the business
Marketing Function & Promotional Events:
– Liaise with external marketing management company to ensure strategies implemented
– Manage the marketing & ecom budget with Director
– Effective and efficient media implementation including analysis and monthly reporting to Exec
– Identification of new target markets and associated business case development
– Manage & roll out showroom campaigns with showroom managers
– Manage Showroom POS (Point of Sale) updates
– Ensure all campaigns are effectively translated across online channels and are on brand
– Review each marketing campaign to assess its successfulness and understand what can be learnt for future improvements
– Incorporate all learnings into future strategies
– Keep up to date with key industry developments and look for ways to incorporate best practice within the business
