It is an exciting time here at City Plumbing. We have recently become a stand-alone business and need Digital Product Owners to help make us the best Online Builders’ merchants to both our trade and consumer customers!
There is a lot to do, and you’ll be involved in the full Product Ownership cycle.

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a fast-paced and agile Product team that is creating new and interesting ways for our customers to engage online with our product range.
Having recently become a standalone business (we’re now known as the Highbourne Group), we have committed to a digital transformation so our customers can engage and transact effortlessly across our eCommerce platforms.
This means you’ll work within a team of 12 Product Owners, and your work will have a real tangible impact across our digital platforms!
Areas of focus include:
Working collaboratively across a shared vision communicating progress and development timescales to various stakeholders.
Defining objectives and measuring their benefits to ensure we deliver world-class digital experiences.
Own our Product roadmaps and manage the expectations of all dependencies involved.
Break down complex problems into manageable and achievable initiatives ensuring your champion the needs of the customer at all times.
Understanding the outcome of roles assigned to you – reaching out to other members when support is needed.
This is a remote-based role with quarterly travel to Team meetings.
You should be based in the UK and our Head Office is based in Crick, Northamptonshire.
This means you could be from areas such as Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, Chesterfield, Corby, Coventry, Hinckley, Kettering, Leamington Spa, Leeds, Leicester, London, Loughborough, Lutterworth, Market Harborough, Manchester, Milton Keynes, Nottingham, Northampton, Nuneaton, Oundle, Oxford, Peterborough, Rugby, Sutton Coldfield, Tamworth, Warwick, Wellingborough.
You’ll live and breathe our digital-first ethos, with an analytical and commercial approach. You’ll enjoy working collaboratively with the wider team and you’ll be committed to acting with integrity and honesty in everything you do.
Required skills and competencies:
Experience in delivering digital product solutions for a customer-focused business.
Experience in working in a digital environment and executing agile delivery methods.
Demonstrable experience in bringing products to market and the management of the full end-to-end product development process.
A focus on results, with excellent interpersonal skills to keep people energised, positive, and focussed on delivering value.
A strong understanding of the technical architecture of complex web applications.
It is highly likely you will have worked in any of the following roles and/or markets, and worked with the following products and/or services: Product Owner, Online Product Owner, Digital Product Manager, IT Product Owner, UX, UI, User Experience, Agile Environments, Scrum Master, Jira, eCommerce, Retail, FMCG, Online, Online Trading.
