At Wells & co we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional hospitality experiences. Our portfolio includes a range of pubs both in the UK and France and we are seeking a passionate and creative Digital Marketing Manager to drive our online presence and engagement.

Working as part of our Retail Marketing Team, this new role is pivotal in leading the digital focus of our wider marketing strategy, from social media to websites, managing online content, analysing digital marketing reports, managing email campaigns, using analytics to influence activity and making recommendations to best target our customers. Alongside the Digital Marketing Executive, you will be our go-to expert for all things digital marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the Digital Marketing and Content strategy across all Digital channels including email marketing, social and website that supports our Marketing Plan and trading style objectives. Working closely with the Marketing Manager and Sales & Revenue Manager.
• Own and improve the usability, design and content of the company’s current websites whilst supporting the Digital Marketing Executive influence SEO strategy and optimisation to improve acquisition and conversion.
• Activate tactical digital advertising in line with key priorities using Meta and Google Advertising as well as any other digital tools.
• Weekly and monthly updates and reports, focusing on key KPI’s and conversion.
• Management of our CRM strategy through execution of email marketing plan and development of the system in line with campaigns and trading styles objectives. Building, designing, writing copy and optimising emails to drive frequency and making the most of the tools within the system.
• Share knowledge with our Pub Partners to improve their Digital performance.
• Develop our social media strategy by providing social media guidance and training for the pubs including best practice, executing centralised campaign posts and ensuring site-level marketing tools are used to drive engagement.
• Work with Sales & Revenue and Guest Experience Manager to develop Hotel Revenue Strategy to drive occupancy and RevPAR.
• Work with Content Creator to create digital assets to share with teams across our platforms and drive our Digital awareness.
• Research, Develop and Launch a new Loyalty Platform within our business.
• Research and manage digital advertisement opportunities and explore opportunities to further promote our pubs.
• Keep up to date with the latest thinking and technologies surrounding digital marketing, to maintain an expert level of understanding and identify trends.

What you will bring:

• You – a proven Digital Marketing enthusiast
• A true passion for hospitality – knowing about pubs and beer is essential!
• Extensive knowledge of social media platforms, Google Ads and Facebook advertising
• Knowledge of SEO, SEM, PPC and google analytics
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Exposure to managing budgets across various digital marketing initiatives.
• Experience with web and email software e.g., Airship, WordPress
• Creativity and a keen eye for detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
