Description
Support the Digital Marketing Manager and Digital Lead to deliver digital aspects of the Marketing & Communications and organisational strategies.
Create powerful customer experiences across our digital platforms, including website, e-mail and paid advertising channels.
Creating strong, relevant audience-led content for the website that is designed to improve key metrics such as conversion, engagement and search engine optimisation (SEO).
Working with colleagues to design create new pages or sections for the website whenever necessary, ensuring brand guidelines/site design guidelines are maintained.
Continually reviewing performance metrics, and seeking ways to optimise performance.
Training, advising and coaching colleagues to use the content management system (CMS) proficiently, and to publish user-friendly, strategically effective content.
Reporting technical issues to the Digital Marketing Manager and development agency in a timely manner.
Working with the Digital Marketing Manager to develop plans for paid media
Supporting with day-to-day digital advertising activity, including communication with our Google Grant and paid PPC agency, and our digital advertising consultant for digital advertising on Facebook and other social media channels
Supporting the digital elements of communications campaigns
Being the lead point of contact for our email marketing platform – Dot Digital
Working with teams across the organisation to plan, create and execute engaging email journeys to meet shared goals and objectives
Proactively seeking opportunities to improve and develop our email communication experience
Monitoring and reviewing performance, using insights and learnings to inform decisions about future activity
Training, advising and coaching colleagues to use the Dot Digital platform
Profile
They looking for a digital marketer with a passion for data, who puts audiences at the heart of the digital experience.
You’ll combine your technical digital expertise with creative marketing techniques, and you’ll embrace new opportunities and ways to improve and develop the charity’s digital communications.
You’ll be adept at managing a busy workload – juggling both day-to-day activity and discrete projects – and building excellent relationships across the charity.
