An experienced Content Creator and Designer with proven content creation / social media management experience is needed to join the team at this leading provider of photographic backdrops and professional photography services based in Watford on a full-time basis.

They are seeking a talented and dynamic Content Creator and Designer to join their small but creative team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about photography, social media, and design.

This role reports to the CEO and requires a good command of the English language; knowledge of the photographic industry is advantageous but not essential.

This role offers excellent earning potential with an uncapped OTE of £35,000+.

They specialise in a wide range of photographic services and products, from personalised photo gifts to professional studio sessions. They pride themselves on their creativity, quality, and customer satisfaction.

The company is split into 4 divisions: A backdrop manufacturing brand, a marketing company for portrait studios, a photographic yearly trade show and a portrait studio B2B and B2C. Trading for 30 years with a great track record and reputation in the photographic industry.

About the Role

The candidate will be responsible for creating, managing, and optimising engaging content across various social media platforms, designing branding-specific content, and staying up to date with the latest social media trends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute creative content strategies to promote their products and services across all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.)
• Create high-quality, engaging visual and written content, including photos, videos, graphics, and animations
• Use Canva and other design tools to produce branding-specific content that aligns with the company’s image and voice
• Edit photos and videos directly on the phone to produce professional-looking content.
• Schedule and post content at various times of day and evening to maximise engagement and reach
• Monitor and respond to social media interactions, comments, and messages in a timely and professional manner
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content aligns with overall marketing strategies and campaigns
• Track and analyse social media performance metrics to refine strategies to improve engagement and reach
• Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep their content fresh and relevant
• Assist in planning and preparation of photoshoots and other content-creation activities

Required Experience:

• Proven experience as a Content Creator, Social Media Manager, or similar role, preferably in the photography or creative industry
• Proficient in using social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest

Required Skills:

• Strong skills in Canva and other design software
• Excellent photo and video editing skills, particularly on mobile devices
• Creative flair with a keen eye for aesthetics and detail
• Strong understanding of social media trends and algorithms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organisational and time-management skills

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with additional design and editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite)
• Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics
• Experience with social media advertising and analytics tools
