The company

My client, a dynamic and innovative marketing agency, is seeking a talented and creative Content and Social Media Executive to join their team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about social media, content creation, and digital marketing. You will have the opportunity to work with multiple brands across various industries, helping them to grow their online presence and engage with their audiences in meaningful ways. Duties

• Develop captivating and visually appealing content for social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Take ownership of clients social media presence, ensuring it reflects the agency’s brand and values.
• Create and implement effective social media strategies aimed at growth and engagement for each client.
• Develop and maintain content calendars for each customer, ensuring a consistent and strategic posting schedule.
• Use scheduling tools to ensure all content is posted at optimal times for maximum reach and engagement.
• Monitor and respond to comments and messages across all social media platforms, fostering a positive and engaging community.
• Create monthly reports to analyse social media performance using analytics tools. Report back to clients on their brand’s social media growth and provide insights for improvement.
• Write regular, optimised blogs for both the businesses and customers’ websites, ensuring content is engaging and SEO-friendly.
• Craft excellent website copy that aligns with each customer’s brand and tone of voice.
• Maintain regular communication with customers to plan content, stay updated with industry trends, and obtain content approvals.

The ideal candidate

• Strong creative skills with the ability to produce engaging and visually appealing content.
• Familiarity with social media platforms, trends and best practices.
• Basic graphic design and video editing skills for social media.
• A degree in English, Creative Writing or Marketing would be preferred.
• Experience using tools and apps such as Canva, Adobe, WordPress, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite.
• Ability to develop and implement effective social media strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple content calendars and schedules.
