The Talent Crowd are pleased to be working with a leading non for-profit organisation to recruit a Community Engagement Officer to support people in the local community in getting in to work. Your role will be work with a wide range of stakeholders to promote participation, generate referrals, and complete initial referrals to the service. Key Responsibilities

• Raise awareness of the service through targeted marketing and outreach activities to increase the number of referrals.
• Work to monthly set targets for referrals, attaching new participants to the programme.
• To manage digital channels including website, digital tv and eLearning platforms as well as our social media and email marketing.
• Work as part of the marketing and events team to assist develop and deliver strategic digital activity.
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure service levels

Skills:

• A warm, approachable style to delivery is required in order to build relationships and rapport.
• Ability to work to challenging targets and key performance indicators.
• Have a proactive approach to work and able to show initiative.
• Knowledge of administrative systems in order to record participant progression.
• Must have excellent interpersonal and promotional skills, telephone manner.
• Good organisational skills and excellent IT skills.
• Well developed IT skills, including and understanding of computerised management information systems, spreadsheet, diary management and email.
• Knowledge of the barriers faced by families with multiple barriers to employment and progression towards employment.
