As part of the UK Internal Communications team, your role will be to create, plan, deliver and measure effective and engaging communications for target audiences that drive value and reputation for the business.
Key Accountabilities
Develop creative communications plans that target the right audiences with engaging material that uses the best channels available to budget, to quality and delivered on time
Deliver the outputs of those plans personally by working closely with team members in the wider UK function and being accountable for the expected output of others
Support the Senior Employee Communication Manager to ensure timely delivery of strategic campaigns
Support the creation and manage the delivery of content for our corporate internal channels and act as a champion for their best practice use. Channels include newsletters, posters, Yammer and TV screens
Keep key content trackers up to date and work with other EC colleagues to ensure content is strategic and planned
Produce regular reports to update on performance against agreed plans
Develop strong relationships across the team to create a continuous pipeline of quality content that can be used across a range of channels and ensure messages reach the right audience(s) at the right time
Ensure appropriate sign offs are obtained for all published content, including safety aspects
Support the Senior Communications Executive to ensure accurate audience data and segmentation are available for successful communication and campaign delivery and measurement
Work effectively with suppliers that support delivery of communication activity
Support with team admin as and when required, including management of purchase orders
Support the business at times of major incidents or crises, including providing out of hours cover where required
Complying with company policies and guidelines
Skills & Experience required
Previous experience working in a role which involved communications (writing newsletter, supporting campaigns etc)
Excellent communication, digital, written and interpersonal skills, focus on quality and creativity
Strong visual eye and background in social media
Project management experience
Good stakeholder management skills, with experience of reaching communications goals
Team player with ability to work with individuals across multiple geographical locations
Adapts positively to changing business demands
Self-starter with excellent organisation skills and ability to manage conflicting deadlines
A clean driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally
Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office
