Petit Forestier, the European leader in refrigerated rental, are recruiting for a Business Development Manager for the North West & North East covering our Warrington and Leeds depots, reporting to the Head of Business Development.
Business Development Manager Responsibilities
Responsible for attracting, negotiating and implementing commercial partnerships with Regional accounts, while supporting the National Key Account deals, whose HQ falls in the region.
Manage all stages of the sales process, from identifying the right targets (e.g., leveraging existing relationships/network), prospecting and generating new leads, and ultimately closing deals and successfully signing new contracts, functioning as key contact point for the key stakeholders at these clients side.
Be a key face of the company in the region: e.g., attend trade fairs, contribute to online/offline events/publications aimed at increasing Petit Forestier s brand recognition and generating new leads.
Support or conduct regular business reviews with senior client representatives to share data, build relationships and understand client goals.
Foster adoption and correct usage of the available systems, e.g., Sales Force CRM.
At a set point support the transition of Fleet Accounts to National Account management.
Business Development Manager Requirements
Essential:
Native (or fluent) in the local language. Resident in the region, and ideally in the proximity of the major depot/agencies.
Strong communication skills, written and oral, and true relationship builder.
Consultative selling skills, experience in client strategic planning.
Collaboration skills to get things done
Negotiation and persuasion skills to build relationships and manage conflict
Gravitas to represent the business at every level in the sales cycle
Self-motivated and driven to achieve success
Digital Marketing knowledge to generate sales opportunities
Desirable:
Credible understanding of alternative fuels to take the lead in supporting the client base and educating the Hunting team.
