We’re looking for a fab Assistant Marketing Manager to join our team to support the delivery of our growth plans. This role supports the Marketing Manager in marketing plan development, implementation, and delivery. This is a high profile and varied role within the Boots UK Marketing team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Executing the 360-marketing plan for key marketing moments, events and NPD across paid media, in line with the annual plan
• Supporting cross channel marketing integration to deliver one seamless activation plan
• Working closely with the media teams to achieve strong ROIs
• Managing critical paths and costs in line with project plans whilst managing stakeholders
• Working cross-functionally with Retail, Marketing, Trading, Legal, Finance et al to ensure all activity is legally sound and reflective of the trading priorities, representing the priority messaging and objectives.
• Working alongside our Marketing Manager to build and deliver our marketing reports & set and measure KPIs and benchmarks, telling the story internally
What you’ll need to have:
• Experience of and knowledge within digital and social media, as well as data driven marketing campaigns
• Experience of cross functional working, and holding others to account and able to deal with challenging conversations and escalating where expectations are not met
• The ability to collaborate with external agencies and brands, with experience in project management, managing critical paths and costs in line with project plans
• Maintaining creative excellence and ensuring it’s at the forefront of everything you do
• An awareness of customer, market changes and industry best practice, and a passion for best-in-class marketing communications
• Be able to work at pace to deliver business plans right first time in line with critical dates and within budget
• An understanding of our customer’s needs ensuring we can continue to develop and innovate the customer experience for the future
• Initiative to identify opportunities
• Motivated and challenges the norm, with a customer first mindset.
• Experience in retail or FMCG Marketing environment
• Be tenacious and resilient
