ARTWORK / STUDIO ASSISTANT

SOUTH COAST

Full-Time Permanent On-Site

Monday-Friday (No Weekends)

We’re recruiting on behalf of a renowned innovator in the printed packaging sector. They’re offering a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and detail-focused individual to join their fast-paced and collaborative Studio.
This is a unique role where creative meets technical. As an Artwork / Studio Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of the business-responsible for preparing all artwork for print, collaborating with both clients and production, and even creating internal marketing and social media visuals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-flight checks to ensure all files meet print specifications
• Prepare and adapt artwork to be print-ready
• Liaise directly with customers to understand and fulfil design requirements
• Collaborate closely with the print room to ensure production accuracy
• Create, edit, and manage artwork files
• Support internal communications by producing marketing and social media materials
• Contribute to studio efficiency and creative innovation

Desirable Experience (Not Essential):

• Background in reprographics, origination, or artwork coordination
• Familiarity with flexo or digital packaging formats
• Competency in Adobe Illustrator and/or other Adobe Creative Suite tools
• Experience working in a print or production environment
• Creative flair and interest in marketing design
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and an eye for design accuracy
• A friendly, calm, and pragmatic approach-especially under pressure
• Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and experiment
• Comfortable using technology and learning new software
