Advertising & Exhibition Sales Executive – B2B Publisher & Event Organiser – Essex
£40k OTE (Basic Salary £30k + up to £10k from a realistic bonus scheme) + Benefits
The QMJ Group are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced B2B Advertising Salesperson with a consultative approach to build and nurture long term relationships with clients. This is a varied role selling across multiple platforms including digital and print advertising, sponsorship and trade events.
You will be expected to generate revenue from a combination of new business development and account management.
Whilst you will be predominantly office based you will be also be required to attend exhibitions relevant to your portfolio. This may require overnight stays and occasional international travel.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years media sales experience, be self-motivated and well organised. You will be looking for a long-term opportunity within a market leader that prides itself on high staff retention and rewarding solid performance.
Some event sales experience would be useful, although not essential as full training will be provided. Our flagship event, the Hillhead Quarry Exhibition, is the largest construction related event in the UK and the biggest working quarry show in the world. Taking place in a 150,000m² quarry setting, the Hillhead formula of mixing the colour and scale of a large outdoor event with the attractions of plant and equipment doing a real job of work is a proven winner for over 500 exhibitors. It continues to flourish 40 years after its inception. This role will include developing the Hillhead brand.
