We are seeking an experienced, creative and ambitious Marketing Manager to join our growing marketing team and lead our New Restaurant Openings. You will be excited to bring us to new locations and help Popeyes become a household name. This role will be instrumental in launching restaurants and driving the hype we’ve become known for, bringing the spirit and flavour of New Orleans to each new location.

What you’ll do here:

• Develop comprehensive marketing plans for new restaurant openings, events or local marketing activity, including timelines, budgets, and strategies
• Management openings events and activity, from end to end, balancing the strategic planning through to being on site to deliver the execution
• Conduct market research to identify target demographics and local competitors
• Collaborate with internal and external teams and stakeholders, managing our regional PR agencies, designers and printers
• Develop marketing collateral and POS across channels and oversee their distribution
• Create and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns (OOH, PR, digital, social media, print, events) tailored to each new location
• Coordinate with local media and influencers to generate buzz and media coverage for openings
• Ensure that all marketing activities align with the brand’s voice and identity
• Plan and execute opening events, such as Friends & Family evening, press days, and grand openings
• Partner with local businesses and community organisations to enhance event participation and exposure, building relations to foster goodwill and long-term customer loyalty
• Ensure online business listings (e.g. Google, website) and screen schedules are accurate for all restaurants
• Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and events, using data to inform future strategies
• Prepare and present regular reports on campaign performance, including key metrics and ROI

What you’ll have done:

• Extensive experience in marketing, ideally with proven experience in a role focused on new business openings, launches or events, within the hospitality or retail industries
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing the strategic planning with the on-site execution and activisation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Creative thinking with the ability to develop innovative marketing strategies
• Strong analytical skills to assess campaign performance and make data-driven decisions
• Highly organised and detail-oriented, able to prioritise and deliver
• Proactive and able to work independently
• Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Passionate about food, hospitality, and creating memorable customer experiences

Who you’ll be:

• You’ll be super organised and good at keeping to schedules and budgets
• Possess excellent project management skills
• Have a flexible approach will be required to take on tasks according to the needs of the marketing department and business plans
• Be willing to travel, attending new restaurant locations for site assessments, events, and meetings
• Able to work flexibly, as required, to deliver our new openings, this may mean working evenings and weekends as needed, especially around new openings
