MARKETING EXECUTIVE – RECRUITMENT AGENCY

CENTRAL MANCHESTER ANCOATS £30,000 to £35,000 Basic + Benefits + Incentives

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We’re looking for a commercially minded, data-driven B2B Marketing Executive who understands the connection between sales and marketing, combining strong analytical skills with creative thinking and excellent copywriting ability. Working closely with our CEO and Managing Director, you’ll deliver and optimise our established marketing plan, generating quality leads, improving campaign performance and supporting business growth. You’ll also provide occasional sales admin support to the wider team.

THE B2B MARKETING EXECUTIVE ROLE:

Primary Objective: Generate new vacancy enquiries from employers and attract relevant candidates through targeted, results-driven marketing campaigns.

• Email Marketing: Manage approximately 20+ B2B targeted cold email and automated campaigns monthly containing available candidates, including targeting, data verification, copywriting, scheduling and optimisation.
• Candidate Marketing: Deliver monthly sector-specific email campaigns to attract candidates and generate applications for live vacancies.
• LinkedIn: Manage automated lead generation campaigns, optimising messaging, audiences and performance.
• Website & SEO: Manage website content, landing pages and SEO/GEO/AEO activity, using Ahrefs to improve visibility and conversions.
• Direct Mail: Coordinate targeted, low-volume B2B campaigns to engage high-value prospects and generate new Preferred Supplier List (PSL) opportunities.
• CRM & Data: Manage marketing data, including sourcing, verification, cleansing, segmentation and data protection compliance.
• Reporting & Analysis: Monitor campaign performance, lead generation, conversion rates and ROI, identifying opportunities to improve results.
• New Campaigns: Identify, develop and implement new marketing initiatives to generate additional B2B enquiries and new business opportunities.
• Inbox & Business Support: Manage shared mailboxes, respond to incoming emails and calls, distribute enquiries and assist with general office administration as required.

Secondary Objective: Strengthen Get Recruited’s brand presence and engagement amongst employers and candidates.

• Social Media: Manage organic social media calendars, including content creation, scheduling and engagement.
• Content Creation: Produce or outsource marketing content, graphics, videos and promotional materials using Adobe Creative Suite, other creative tools or freelancers.
• Marketing Projects: Support events, awards, exhibitions, podcasts and other marketing initiatives.
• AI & Automation: Identify opportunities to improve marketing efficiency, content creation and campaign delivery through AI and automation.

THE PERSON:

• Experience in a hands-on B2B marketing role, such as Marketing Assistant, Marketing Executive, Digital Marketing Executive, CRM Executive or Email Marketing Executive.
• Experience within recruitment, professional services or another B2B service-led business would be advantageous.
• Strong email marketing experience, including outbound campaigns, automation and excellent copywriting skills.
• Commercially minded, with a clear understanding of how marketing supports sales, lead generation and business growth.
• Analytical and data-driven, with strong Excel skills and the ability to manage CRM data, segmentation and campaign reporting.
• Good understanding of digital marketing, including website management, SEO and organic social media.
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign, with video editing experience advantageous.
• Creative and resourceful, with the ability to develop engaging messaging and identify new marketing opportunities.
• Highly organised, proactive and confident managing multiple campaigns independently while supporting the wider team.
