Role: Digital Marketing Manager

Salary: up to £30,000 to £35,000

Location: Castleford

I am delighted to be working exclusively with one of my favourite clients on a key role for them, Digital & Social Marketing Manager.

My client is a key player within the leisure & outdoor sector with several key brands sitting within their portfolio.

This is a stand alone position where you will be the head of their UK marketing strategy & implementation reporting into the senior management team.

My client is ideally looking for someone who is either working in a similar role or someone who is looking to step out of the shadows of a Marketing Manager/Director and looking for their first standalone role.

They are looking for the individual to move them fully into the digital marketing world so you MUST have previous experience of brand promotion through all the usual digital channels.

The role will involve travel to numerous UK & European destinations attending exhibitions & industry trade shows.

Key Duties to include:

• Creating & Publishing engaging content across social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube
• Creating marketing materials for print and digital channels including yearly product brochure, presentations and social media assets
• Capturing & editing photography and video content for use across digital channels
• Managing the social media content calendar and ensure consistent regular brand messaging
• Supporting email marketing campaigns and SEO activity
• Contributing ideas to the SMT on content to improve customer engagement
• Managing website content
• Analysing campaign performance and producing insight-led reports and recommendations to the Senior Management Team
• Researching competitor activity and industry trends to identify opportunities for growth
• Supporting the sales function with the planning & delivery of exhibitions, trade shows and industry events

My client is looking for

• Previous hands on experience in a senior marketing role
• Strong digital marketing background
• Experience of creating photo, graphic and video content
• Copywriting, proofreading and communication skills
• Ability to run multiple marketing projects
• Freedom to travel & have extended periods away attending exhibitions & trade shows
