If you’re the kind of person who likes variety, enjoys learning new things and wants to get involved in a bit of everything, this could be the role for you.

We’re looking for a switched-on, proactive and adaptable person to join a growing ecommerce business in a role where you’ll get exposure to pretty much every part of the operation.

Think of yourself as a jack of all trades – one minute you’re speaking to a customer, the next you’re working on a sales opportunity, updating a website, creating social media content or helping organise a delivery.

No two days will be the same.

So, what will you be doing?

You’ll get involved in loads of different areas of the business, including:

• Sales – dealing with incoming enquiries and helping turn them into sales.
• Business Development – finding new customers and opportunities and helping grow the business.
• Ecommerce – learning how the company’s websites work and managing the processes behind customer orders.
• Marketing – getting involved with PPC, SEO and digital marketing.
• Social Media & Content – coming up with ideas and creating content to promote the business.
• Customer Service – answering calls, replying to emails and looking after existing and new customers.
• Operations – helping organise deliveries, liaising with customers and working with the warehouse team.
• Logistics – getting involved with picking, packing and shipping orders.
• Customer Visits – occasionally heading out to installations, meeting customers and seeing the products and services in action.
• Business Admin – gaining an insight into areas such as accounting and the day-to-day running of the business.

You won’t be stuck doing one thing all day. You’ll be encouraged to get involved, learn and have a go.

Who are we looking for?

We’re not looking for someone who already knows how to do everything.

We’re looking for someone with the right attitude and personality who can learn as they go.

You could be a great fit if you’re someone who:

• Is naturally proactive and doesn’t need to be told what to do every five minutes.
• Can jump between different tasks without getting overwhelmed.
• Picks things up quickly and enjoys learning new things.
• Has a commercial mindset and likes the idea of helping a business grow.
• Is confident speaking to people on the phone and face-to-face.
• Can work independently but also enjoys being part of a small team.
• Isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in.
• Has good common sense and can think on their feet.
• Is enthusiastic, ambitious and has a “I’ll figure it out” attitude.

One important thing

This is an office-based role in the Coventry area, so you’ll need your own car and a full driving licence to get to the office and occasionally travel to customer sites.
