Reed Marketing & Creative are partnered with a successfully growing B2C business, who are looking for an Head of Corporate Communications to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

Stakeholder Communication

• Engage with customers, partners, investors, government bodies, and the public.
• Address inquiries, provide updates, and maintain transparency.

Reputation Management

• Monitor media coverage and social channels for misinformation or sentiment shifts.
• Implement proactive and reactive strategies to protect brand integrity.
• Collaborate with Investor Relations and Legal teams for compliance and alignment.

Crisis Preparedness & Planning

• Develop and maintain a robust crisis communication plan.
• Create pre-approved messaging templates for potential scenarios.
• Conduct risk assessments and train leadership on media protocols.
• Act as the central communication point during crises, delivering timely and accurate statements.
• Manage media inquiries and ensure internal alignment.
• Conduct post-crisis reviews and implement improvements

What the Successful Candidate Will Have:

• Strategic Communication Expertise – Proven ability to develop and execute communication strategies for diverse stakeholders, including customers, partners, investors, and government bodies.
• Crisis Management Skills – Experience creating and implementing crisis communication plans, managing media inquiries, and delivering timely, accurate messaging under pressure.
• Media & Reputation Management – Skilled in monitoring media coverage, detecting misinformation, and deploying damage control strategies.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration – Ability to work closely with Investor Relations, Legal, HR, and leadership teams to ensure compliance and alignment.
• Industry Knowledge – Strong background in the automotive sector or OME.
• Digital & Social Media Savvy – Deep understanding of social media dynamics, influencer engagement, and online reputation management.
• Technical Proficiency – Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
