E-Commerce Specialist

We are seeking a dynamic, independent and results-driven E-Commerce Specialist to join a busy thriving business. The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of e-commerce/digital marketing strategies and hands-on experience in Amazon marketplace optimisation, website management, and email marketing. This role will be instrumental in enhancing the company brands online presence, improving our customer facing communication and, ultimately, increasing their B2B sales. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead new initiatives and develop new digital skills.

Main Duties to include:

Amazon Marketplace Optimization:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of their Amazon Seller Central Account.
• Create, optimise and manage product listings, ensuring they are accurate, engaging and keyword rich to enhance visibility and drive sales for the company resellers.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competition and opportunities for growth on the Amazon platform.
• Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and actionable insights to improve product rankings and sales.
• Ensure all company brands are monitored on Amazon, monitoring and reporting any unwanted product listings.
• Implement and manage Amazon programs such as FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon), Amazon Brand Registry, and Enhanced Brand Content/A+ Content.
• Stay updated with Amazon policies, algorithm changes and new features to ensure compliance and take advantage of new opportunities.

Website Management:

• Manage and update company website content using Sana Commerce (Content Management Systems) to ensure it is current, accurate, and engaging.
• Continuously look for improvements to site usability: item tagging and categorisation, website navigation, search functions and fully utilising all Sana features.
• Implement SEO best practices to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic.

Email Marketing:

• Develop and execute email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp, including newsletters, promotional offers, and automated campaigns.
• Segment email lists based on customer behaviour, preferences, and engagement to personalise communications.
• Analyse email performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions) and refine strategies for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR) and best practices.

Skill Requirements:

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively to drive initiatives forward
• Self motivated, proactive and eager to take on responsibility and self-learn
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• 2+ years of experience in digital marketing
• Essential to have hands on experience working with Amazon Seller Central
• Beneficial to have experience with email marketing platforms like Mailchimp and website management systems
• Knowledge of graphic design tools such as Photoshop is beneficial
